The low down on the Doctor Who Christmas special 2016
This year’s Doctor Who Christmas special 2016 is all set to have a – wait for it – superhero starring in it!
Set in the city of New York, the Christmas special will see the Doctor joining forces with an investigative journalist (actor Charity Wakefield) to try and save everyone from a terrible alien attack.
This is what Steven Moffat (yes, he’s still the executive producer on Doctor Who) had to say:
“I’ve always loved superheroes and this Christmas Doctor Who dives into that world. My favorite superhero is Clark Kent. Not Superman, Clark Kent.”
